Merry Christmas to all!

So my brother, son and I went out for our re-invigorated annual Boxing Day shoot- sponsored by me of course...
One of the guns I brought was my Tok. We put a bunch of rounds through it and it shot quite well. When I got home and was cleaning it, I noticed the extractor was missing- I suspect it fell out somewhere in the house, maybe when I was stripping it- I am still looking for it. Has anyone experienced this before? Is this a design issue or was mine worn out in some way? And does anyone know where I can find a TT-33 extractor?

Thanks for looking!

Extractors on Toks are held by vertical pin, which should be mushroomed on top of the slide to hold in place. It goes through the hole in extractor for retaining it in the slide.
If it slid out of the slide, your extractor will be pushed out by the spring that keeps tension on the extractor to claw it on the rim of the round.
It is relatively simple set up so its dead nuts reliable, but if the pin is free to move it will slide out on the recoil.
that's why it has to be mushroomed to prevent it from getting out.

The best way to get tok parts is to buy another Junker tok. these parts come up for sale on the ee at times. may be try marstar or tradex they should have them. pin , spring and extractor itself is usually needed to make it function.
