Hello,
I've been having some problems with the magazines for my tokarev recently.
It seems that whenever the slide comes back after firing, the magazine ejects. I own 4 mags, and it's only been an issue with one of them up until the last few times out, now I only have one mag that stays locked into the gun while firing.
Any ideas what could be causing this? or how to fix it?

I have just done this, hopefully this will solve my problem, although upon further examination, I'm beginning to think I may need to replace the mag release as i appears to be quite worn.

So I figured it was time for a little update...
After cleaning the mag release, I went to the range this past weekend, and unfortunately there was no change. Two of my mags consistently dropped out when the slide went forward, I've ordered a replacement mag release assembly from tradeex, so hopefully this will fix the problem. I also had the disconnector break on me while I was at the range, I suspect that it was a result of the mags falling out. Hopefully when I get it fixed everything will be back in tip top running condition.

I solved the problem on mine by prying out the upper edge of the cutout on the magazine
by just the tiniest amount. Go easy, don't over do it!!!

Just wanted to say thank you for this advise. I did the same as you and the mags no longer fall out of the handgun. fire over 200 rounds today and no issues whatsoever!
