Tokarev TT-33 ordered from Kelly's Sporting Goods

There are some in the local store but they have wood grips. I never thought to see what year it was. Any idea why it would be different from all of yours?

How much are they asking for the wood grip models?

They were asking $169 I believe. They weren't very nice looked like they been rattling around in a wooden box. They were scratched on the right side.

I don't think they have it on there website. I could go take some pics for you. I believe he said they were getting another crate in but not sure if these would be wood grips or not. Lmk

Well... crap! I think I may have got the lemon of the batch. The barrel is definitely pitted.

The slide lock doesn't work...

Kelly's took care of me (as I was sure they would) and I received my replacement TT33 today. I've given it a quick once over and the new one is pretty minty. No scratches or scuffs this time. The barrel is perfect. The slide stop works good. Very nice.

Kudos to Kelly's! My second Tok arrived with a broken firing pin and after talking to them they shipped me a replacement pin no charge, no questions asked. Had it out last night and it's another good shooter. Put about 20 mags through with flawless function and good trigger and accuracy. Great fun shooter

Got to finally try out my Tokarev from Kelly's that I bought in January. My buddy and I both bought them. Only shot about 50 rounds but they all shot great. My buddy couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with his, he thought something was wrong. Shot his, and bam right on accurate. He just sucks at shooting, need to give him some pointers..

Anyone on the fence about picking up a Polish Tokarev, its time to jump off and get one.

Now what do these Polish models like for ammo? Do they shoot surplus steel case good or should I be looking for brass cased ammo?

They shoot steel case just fine.

those are hot round and tokarev is really powerful for its size. It go through body armor like butter, this round is fast

was showing one of my kelly's tok's to a friend in unused condition and he racks the slide and pulls the trigger and the end of the firing pin comes flying out the barrel !!
contacted kelly's on phone but he said send email , have sent 2 been 4 days no reply .. on holiday's?? will break down other one and inspect firing pin , i wonder how many of this batch has broken firing pins?

I bought 2 when they just came in and haven't had either of them out yet. I will clean them up and take them out on the weekend and see how they are.

maybe check the firing pins , just be careful with the retainer pin . i was keeping mine in unfired condition as i have other tt33 shooters
