Tokarev TT-33 ordered from Kelly's Sporting Goods

Ordered A 55 and 54 from Mr. Kelly tonight. He actually dug through the box and found one for me, then held it for a few days, Great bunch there!
Hope they pick up more gear like this!

Mine arrived today. I took out out of the case to safety check and have a look. Let's say it was not Glock Perfection!

The slide release fell to the floor first. I gently pushed the slide forward and the spring popped out. Next, the trigger group popped out and fell to the floor in pieces (luckily - I had just cleaned up my office). Apparently, the slide stop retainer clip on the right was not pushed into place... Does anyone know of a detailed video on re-assembly?

The condition is as expected - new. Up on the EE it goes...
I see, as is usually the case on EE,, you are asking more than you paid for it from Kelly!

Irelevante, Tokarev are not complicated, so simple, and because there are apart easily, they are easy to clean, this is not a fragile gun....it made the warClean it oil it and wait 20 years before sell
Super simple, built like usual Russian older military equipment, for the lowest common denominator, the peasant, some who could not even read. Easy to maintain, components that were replaced, rather than fixed. They do the same with aircraft, even today.

If you want to save the finish from the inevitable scratches you get from removing the retaining clip (Clip is on the other side in this picture) just lightly sand the back of the clip to give it some tooth then put a thin layer of epoxy on the back of it. The epoxy will prevent the clip from scratching.

Marshal Grips are sweet, I want to get some.

I paid just under $250 shipped with GST. It will probably cost $20-$25 for me to ship it. I wish your math was correct - but I will be losing money on the sale.

I want to be clear - the condition is as expected - new. I am not at all disappointed with the service either.

I got it together just fine - but the bottom of grip/mag stops about an inch from the bottom of my hand. It would not be comfortable to shoot for me.

Received mine today, 2 1954"s.
They are as nice as I had hoped for, will try to get pics up in the next few days.

Mine didn't ship with the cleaning rods though, sent an email and PM, we"ll see how that goes.

I just bought one!! You know how many guns Ive bought while at work? I had to have one. I told myself "You don't need an extra magazine. You have 2 sitting in a bag all gooey you haven't even cleaned yet". And then Im on the phone,,,the guy at Kelly's even said,,,"Na,,,You don't need to buy an extra one"....

5 seconds of silence.......................

"Ya throw the extra mag in"

Sigh.......still waiting on the BC CFO to do the transfer,
already called for progress update last week and was told they were still working
on transfers from just before christmas, could be another week or two for me yet.
dumbasses!!

Anyone can confirm if the front bushing is identical to a russian one?, will want my compensator( from a russian one ) to fit on it

Mine arrived clean as well. I just did a light field strip...greased the rails with a little Bel Ray blue grease(motorcycle grease), a quick spray and wipe down overall with Rem Oil, cycled the action a few times...then gave it a big kiss :)

Finally got a chance to take some pics, I bought two and both are virtually brand new.
Both all matching except for the mags.

I was hoping to get an opinion from the vets out there. I saw this thread and was extremely excited I have been looking at the TT33 for a while. Do you think this would be a viable option for a shooters first pistol ? its cost effective, its rugged, the ammo is cheap. I was just hoping to get some advice if it is a viable option I will be heading home tonight to put my order in. I am not a member of a range yet but will be I hope soon. Just my chance to pick something up and have it ready for when I do.

Thoughts?

BTW thanks for the picks guys, they look fantastic. Obviously not up to modern standards but I am not expecting the fit and finish of a Colt.
