If you can find a pre or post (1945-1953) WWII TT33 grab it fast. The WWII ones are great but being wartime production the finish isn't pretty. Lots of machine marks.
As far as Tok's go... they shoot great in both 9mm and 7.62x25 however if you are going to shoot surplus corrosive ammo, I would just get a cheap old Norchinko and keep a WWII as a collectible piece.
You don't need a conversion kit. Just get a barrel (with link) and magazines and swap 'em out. You can use the 7.62 mags for 9mm but don't count on them being 100% reliable in feeding as the 7.62 is a bit longer and the 9mm uses a spacer at the back of the magazine to compensate for the shorter 9mm round.
