Tomahawk 1200 pics and first impressions(update,test fired)

OMG that's some gross metal working going on. :puke:

IMHO this brand of shotgun should have been run through the paces like you did before they were brought into the country for sale.

Looks like it was allready "run through the paces" then sold as new.

Hard to believe one of the fine sponsors of this site would treat some one like this. Also hard to believe any one would sell a piece of crap like this to any one.
This is not a case of "you get what you pay for"

Yikes!
Makes my 'El Cheapo' Grizzly look like a fine hand-crafted Italian gun by comparison. Thanks for saving me the hassle of buying one of these POS. Turkey's finest!

COLTFAN;
Thank you for being fair....
As youcan see I have all the facts at hand, no name, no address, no phone number, no invoice number....
I do have a pen name, so I'll check using that....

How about waiting for the outcome BEFORE judging the matter ??

So Enigmatic posts that he has sent the gun back and been in touch with you repeatedly since with no results.

You meanwhile feign complete ignorance.

Who to believe?

For those of us who've been around this forum for a while and know this isn't the first time this has happened the conclusion is obvious.

This thread is 2 weeks old today. I'm in retail and I would have had this issue buttoned up the day it went public. No good could come of this for Marstar after sitting idle with no responce for so long, especially now that more bad experiences(with this gun, not Marstar) have been added. Damage is done.

Of course you have positive evidence of this ?? I have no way of checking out this file, I NEED a name.... Not a pen name....

"You meanwhile feign complete ignorance."
Just for a monment lets get realistic, do you really think that I have personal knowledge of everything that goes on at our business ? There are people on the phones, people who pick orders, people who do invoicing, people who ship the orders....
I am not omni present in all areas, that is why when something like this comes about I want to know, I want to know how it happened, who handled (or mishandled) the file, why it happeend in the first place....
It is NOT my intention to discipline or critique the persons involved, we simply want to close the file and learn from it, perhaps avaoiding the same mistakes again....

Do you think that I personaly oversee the hundreds of orders that go out of here every month ? Not likely....

What conclusion ?? has Marstar ever failed to resolve a customer's problem ? Please inform all here of what you know the conclusion will be .......

Since we have all chosen to have this in a public forum rather than contact me by e mail, fax or telephone, then I will keep one and all up to date as to what happens over the next few days.

JANESY;
Perhaps the thread is two weeks old, BUT I just became aware of it through a note from a member here, also a customer, I thank him for taking the time to advise me.

Unfortunately I can't spend all my time on CGN, I do have a business to run.... That is why I have posted time and time again that if someone has a problem with Marstar and can't seem to get a satisfactory resolution, then contact me by phone (it's free) by fax or e mail, that way we can work on it immediately....

Unfortunately a few people prefer to rant their frustration here rather than contact me, of ccourse they do NOT provide crtical information such as their name.... The assumption being that we only sold one of the items in question and should immediately recognize them....

Thats fair enough, I understand you are busy, and thats great for business and sales. However, I have been logging onto this site daily, and this thread has not dropped from the front page since its creation. In fact most times it has been top of the list, and highlighted on the forums page. And the fact that you have made multiple posts on this site every other day since this thread started, doesn't lend much support to the not knowing about this thread idea not carry too much weight.

All I'm saying is that if I saw a post with my product in the subject title with a thumbs down sign beside it, I'd be more concerned. Don't let me tell you how to run your business, I'm not trying to. but it is a proven fact that an unhappy customer will tell 11 times more people than a happy one.

I'm done, hopefully the bugs get worked out and a good product becomes available for us gunnutz.

It's pretty obvious you don't oversee the orders, nor do you oversee the staff dealing with complaints. A good owner, one who gives a damn about his business and his customers, puts people in place he can trust to live up to his commitments. A good leader then doesn't blame the subordinates that HE put in place when they don't get the job done.

Sure mistakes happen and sometimes a bad gun slips through the system but do all f**ked up orders at Marstar require your personal intervention?

Does it trouble you that of all the dealers on this site more of these stories come up about Marstar than anyone else?

Or are you too busy to think about that too?

Let it rest.
