I want to build a rugger 10/22 tommy gun but am having trouble finding a ribed barel preferably non restrickted length, can any one help, thanks.

Did mine with a 12.5 inch Dlask sporter barrel and a ribbed shroud. Interested in your build procedure for comparison.

Non restricted barrel length depends on how long your stock is. Over all length has to be 26". You cant cut down a factory barrel though either.

Did you make the shroud or can they be purchased some were?

Did my own on the lathe and mill. A little tricky to get the taper just right on the inside dia for a tight fit.
