Tony Sopranos AR10

I am truly amazed at the wealth of knowledge many of you here possess.
I equate it to - some can hear a song on the radio - pick up a guitar and play it
here, some of you can look at a (blurry) pic of a firearm, and name every part / make / model - amazing

We all know that they screw up in the movies ALL the time...I was channel surfing on Friday night and I saw a scene from some show/movie where the actor was holding the MP5 by the mag instead of the vertical foregrip...huh?

He was shooting it FULL AUTO in that scene, after Bobby gave him the rifle as a gift he test fired it for the 1st time out in the woods on F.A.

Ok. Didn't know he was firing it on "rock-n-roll"! So then it was a totally illegal rifle because I just don't see Tony having a Class III BATF Licence. Friggin' mob douche bags......

BTW, only on TV can a fat-arse like Tony get laid that much by hot chicks. I'm a cougariffic gal and I wouldn't let him eat the peanuts outta my sheeit!

Even the mighty KevinB would have problems getting in to an established company.
Don't minimize my powers :D

Problems that I have seen with some of the brief stuff I did with the Industy more by accident - is that a lot of the issues come from the director etc not carring or wanting a "cooler" look than the people they have doing gun stuff.

But Ryan is in the Industry so he can explain the what and why's.

That is exactly the problem I have ran into. They really like tacky stuff bolted on, and they have no idea about the weapons do. Alot of them insist on having huge muzzle flashes with suppressors on, and some even insist the actors shoot one hand gangster style, or chambering a around every time the gun is drawn.

Speaking of big flashes, in the movie HEAT, during the bank heist gone wrong and the following shoot-out, De niro's M4 is making massive flashes and this is during daylight, quite visible IMHO, I have a 10.5 inch barrel on my rifle and I have never had flahes like that, I watched the scene and you can see brass ejecting from the rifles, in fact during the commentary, they mention tourists picking up spent brass off the street after as a momento.

So how are the getting such huge flashes with blank ammunition? Whatever flash suppressor they have on their, I want one, cause I would love to get some pics of myself shooting with that type of fire coming out the end!!!

Kilmer during shoot-out

if i remember correctly a conversation i had with a movie effect dude in Europe, they use a washer between the FH and the barrel that has a small hole to increase pressure. And I would assume the power charge is hot loaded with the appropriate powder.
