Too late to get a C.O.R.E?

PMed a guy who PMed me earlier about knowing where i could get a CORE licence @ this time but haven't heard back yet (only been a day or so IIRC though)
If anyone knows in Van area and Van island area where me and some pals can get our hunting licences for this season (I know I know we're late) that'd be great. :)

It's the middle part of an apple that contains the seeds :rolleyes: ;) .

Actually it's a program (forget what the acronym stands for) that teaches game identification amongst other things and is a requirement in BC to get a hunter's number/licence. I still need to take mine before I can hunt in BC as my WIN number from Alberta isn't transferrable to BC evidently :rolleyes: . Personally I think they just want to take more of my damned money :mad: .

Sounds comparable. It is often administered here in conjunction with the firearms safety course but not always. It costs extra to add this onto the curriculum and also costs extra to take the exam :rolleyes: or challenge it.
 
WOW...they really found an easy way to suck the $$$$ out of you guys. It's included in the firearms safety here. Once you pass you get a little plastic card telling the store that they can sell you a hunting licence.

Don't worry about it, I got a PM from an instructor and am in the process of setting up the times. :)
 
"...suck the $$$$ out of you..." Yep. In Ontario, you have to pay for the Outdoors Card, that requires another useless course to get, before you can buy a hunting or fishing licence. It's a tax that only anglers and hunters have to pay. Brought to us by Bob Ray's Socialist government as I recall.

Get your license by next spring and we can go for spring bear, always fun with more people (to help with carring and butchering ;))
