What I am thinking about:

Ruger Single Six Convertable .22LR/.22Mag 6.5" brl Blued - This one for sure
Ruger Blackhawk Convertable .357Mag/9mm 6.5" brl Blued
Ruger Super Blackhawk .44Mag 7.5" brl SS
Ruger Vaquero .45Colt 7.5" brl CC Blued

Too much?

Too little? ;)

I only plan on one rifle for now, a Henry .22 GB.

too many?

Not until the next one, amazing how you know you have enough now but cant resist just this one, always wanted one and here it is, sure there,s enough room in the safe, well needed another safe anyhow.

In the autos I really like the CZ right now...might want to give them a quick look. Being a lefty, the CZ85B has great feel, good accuracy, and ambi controls.

Why limit yourself and make a list? Read, surf and check out the guns you see at the range. Read and surf some more and check out guns at a gunstore and buy what tickles your fancy. ;)

Stop with the Ruger in .22LR,
buy few S&W revolvers, nice 9mm in SIG or CZ, move on to .45 in 1911
then move on to rifles: tikka, kimber, sako, rem700 are all good choices in
bolt, get some semi-auto rifles: M14, AR15, get few shotguns: Rem 870 and
Mossberg 500.

Start reloading and move on to muzzleloaders, bows and arrows.

There is no such thing as too many guns. The questions is, would you
have time to shoot them all.

WTF? Whats this talk of too much? Too Many? Don't let my wife here stuff like that! What are you trying to do here! Wait a minute, your a plant by our spouses everywhere trying to trap us into something, aren't you? Well, tell them all this......When I have 1 of everything, (doubles in the case of collectables so I have a shooter and a keeper) I'll think I may (MAY) be able to slow down, and maybe switch to rifles.........:50cal:

i can't help but notice they're all single actions- a good 22 for sure, but i think you'll be disappointed with the convertible- the 9mm is a sloppy fit in the 357 bore , and the 44 mag/45colt are almost identical - one or the other, but not both starting out- also look at STAINLESS unless you LIKE cleaning- i've been in this for 30 plus years now and i would go stainless every time, had it been available- right now my number 1 is a ruger redhawk in 44 mag stainless, then a colt mk4/series 70 in 45acp nickel- they didn't make stainless at the time

Too much?

My God man, what kind of question is that? This board has standards you know.;)
IMHO, too many singles. How about the single action Ruger in .44 mag or .45 Colt, then a S&W double action like a 586 or a Ruger GP100. Throw in a .22 LR semi or revolver and top it off with a 1911 original or decent clone. You'll pretty well have a good sampling of calibres and guns. You'll tailor make your list as you go on from there and start to find your preferences. Whatever happens, enjoy.

Now, where's that guy who asked if 60 was too many. I have to talk to him too!!
