too much crimp for a 44 mag for a lever

wondering can you over crimp a 44 mag that will be used in a lever ... i am using a lee die set

If you crimp too much you could cause a bulge below the crimp that could prevent chambering. Overcrimping can also reduce case life.

Using Lee Factory Crimp dies will eliminate over crimping.

If you see some bullet movement, you under crimped. If some rounds are hard/won't chamber, you over crimped.

Put enough roll crimp on the mouth to be able to see it. That is enough.

ok so i have enough crimp that i can clearly see it and the gun chambers them well ... i will check for movement next time i get to the range
