Too much scope for 181/2 m305?

I currently have an elcheepo 2-7x32 mm that came on a 870 slug barrel, but should I upgrade my bolt gun and use this 5-15 elite tactical ? Or is it too much scope I plan on shooting close in maybe with a side mounted reflex I am torn between a gun for midrange and close range

2-7 sounds great to me. a great 10 to 300 yard scope

You could set both scopes up with quick detach rings, like Leupold QRW's or similar and switch scopes whenever you feel like it.
