Too Pretty To Shoot?

Last weekend, I cast a few boolits using 1 part Linotype to 5 parts Wheelweights and for the first time, came up with really shiney and well filled out boolits. Water-dropped.

Average weight came to within 1% of correct weight, i.e. the 124 grain 9mm TC weighed about 125 grains while the 230 grain 45 acp RN weighed 232 average. When I was using pure wheelweights, the 9mm's averaged 129 grains while the 45's averaged 239 grains.

What do you think, are these too pretty to shoot or what!!!

Load em up with some nice shiny brass or nickel - they'll look even nicer.

Too bad you are so far away, otherwise i'd ask you to cast some 250 grain in 38x 55 Winchester.

They'll oxidize over time and turn into that cloudy gray colour, but you got a picture of them looking all shiny, so that's good.
