Some time ago I bought a bubba SMLE from a board member, it appears to be a 1918 RSAF manufacture, there is nothing wrong with the metal work anyways, I had it around for quite a while and did not shoot it, so I took it out to see what it could do, tried it out at 100 yards, got an okay group about 6" high of point of aim, so I tried it out standing at the 200 yard gong, loaded 5 rounds in there *Federal 180 grain soft point* and hit it 4 times, so needless to say I was happy, I don't get much offhand practice, probably should get some more in, she's a keeper that's for sure.

Sounds like a keeper for sure! I had a really nice LE sporter when I was young, although I wanted something I could convert back to original milspec and that beauty had a trimmed barrel.

On another note, I love having that 200 yard gone, my old club only had a 100 yard gong. Can't wait to take my .223 to the 400 yard range.
 
Took my type 38 arisaka to the range which I got from ardent. Hadn't been shot in a few decades. Did well for a first time shoots a touch to the right. Wonder what causes that.
 
Jerking the trigger causes groups to cluster to the right of the POA, but that's only assuming it's human error heh heh. With a rifle as old as a T38 my bet would be on some sort of sight misalignment.
 
No, I'm going to go with jerking the trigger. I've got a flinch from my 303 I'm trying to get rid of.
 
From all the information and misinformation that gets passed about headspacing I think when primers start popping out its a good idea to have a smith check it out.
