Took a buddy of mine out to the range to do some shootin' Luckily, I brought out the .460 Mwahaha. What a beast of a gun. Hands down the loudest, most obnoxious gun I have ever seen at the range, and wow does it put on a show. The guys inside the range came running out when we starting shooting it thinking someone blew up their gun haha.

 
...shooting critique time:) {you posted the vid!!} Your buddy has a potentially hazardous habit of cocking the hammer to single action, then with the muzzle pointed above berm(?) settles in on the target vertically...Show the target the .460 hole in the muzzle, then #### and fire while on target;)

Cool gun.
 
I love my 460V, it really shines when you start reloading with heavier bullets, I currently load a 340gr bullet using 41gr of H110, chrony'd at 1850fps b:

Oh man, I love it! I'm definitely going to have her out there, although I think it might take some convincing haha. I've got a few other girl-friends interested too : )
 
I only have 60 rounds of Hornady's left for my 460v. I have to either find more ammo or start reloading 'cause I'm getting anxious...

These numbers may as well be some broads measurements because I recognize how hot they are and it's making me anxious. I want... Hard.

during a pumpkin shoot last year the range had a desert eagle in 50ae, 460 5" and a 500mag in 83/8". i shot all 3 while it was raining and at the time, the 460 had the most kick. i've since bought a 6.5" 500 mag and reload for it. i shoot 440gr, 550gr, and 575gr, 600 gr bullets (no clue on fps) and just recently got a 700 gr mold. i find the most recoil using lilgun powder, but i don't mind the recoil most days. i typically shoot 50 rounds per trip.
