Quite accurate, at least mine is and the buffer spring doesn't go "sprong", it makes more of an "EH!" sound.

All the ones I have seen have had the buis on backwards.....

The Canadians mount the rear sight backwards compared to the Americans because of differences of opinion as to which orientation of concave cup around the peep gives the best sight picture.

I intend to try both ways and see if I can see a difference.
