Took my Sightron out today for the first time

I bought this scope a while back and finally got a rifle to put it on and made it out today. It took me 8 rounds to get on paper and then I shot these groups at 147 yards. I could easily see the bullet holes at that distance. It's a nice scope and I think the rifle shows potential. I have a few more bullets to try and then I will start on load development. If you are sitting on the fence wondering if a Sightron is a good scope, I can see myself buying another if that's worth anything.

SII Big Sky 6.5-20x50mm with side focus and mil dot reticle.

i've got the exact same one on my 22LR but i've always got the hood on it. the markings are of a nice interesting colour too - kind of a salmon bronze. visible and clearly legible, but don't "stick out" too much.

I'm interested in the performance of your rifle. I've been eyeing this rifle for some time now being that they come in the 260 rem...

Those were numbers 9-18 rounds through it in the pics. I think it's going to be a keeper when I settle on a load. The trigger is super lite (I like that) and it seems to feed well. I knew I was screwing up the 55gr group when I shot them so I'll know more when I get a few hundred rounds down the pipe.

Interesting table set up there KDX.
Stable enough for decent target shooting?
Last time out I used my workmate with a bigger top.
Couple of buckets stacked inside one another.
Not bad but yours looks doable.
Cheers.
Looky.
