Took my wife out for the first time

Wanted to go out this morning as I'm getting pretty antsy. No deer in the freezer yet. My wife asked if she could come. She did, and it was great introducing her to hunting. I didn't get anything, but it was still great.
 
The wife came with me this year. First time in a long time. She has her license but we took one rifle. She had the chance to aim at 3 does but didn't shoot as we didn't have antlerless tags. This is the first time she saw deer while hunting with me. I doubt she could kill a deer but she knows what the expereince is like up to pulling the trigger. Sometimes not shooting is more of an experience than shooting.
 
My wife has hunted with me for 30 years, once at a checkpoint a young CO accused her of having me shoot her deer, when she finished with him he truly understood women's lib. :)
 
Good for you , get your wife into hunting they make great bush pushers as well as truck drivers. Just kidding my wife used to hunt a lot and still comes along for the ride. Roccoskeet i just about spilled my coffee. LOL.
 
I can't wait to get a wife that likes to hunt and shoot..tried a few times already...maybe there is something wrong with me..nah..
 
I knew she was for for me when we met. Forget the fact she liked hunting , and had her own boat , she can still dig worms faster than me !!!
If that dont bring a feller to tears like he won a lottery , well nothin will , I expect.

Well I just chatted with a chick we have a date set up..who has her restricted pal.:eek:.wants to go to the range with me:eek:..and thinks the best part about quadding is getting muddy:cheers:
Good for you man she is a keeper..
 
My lovely sweetheart of 43+ years has hunted with me since before we were married. She still is often the first to have game hanging in camp!

Take her again, ffwd, you won't regret it!
