Took some high brass to the trap range

Sure have to agree that shooting cannon loads doesn't make sense in trap/skeet.[/QUOTE]

Very common here Fred not shooting with a squad but checking out your hunting reloads or new gun prior to hunting season on the trap field.
I have a new win X3 that will be getting a few rounds of trap with 3 1/2" shells through it this summer.
Would I sooner find out it is jamming there, or my reloads suck vs when there is 30 geese in front of me with their landing gear down.
Same as the 10ga few rounds before the season every year and I don't flinch when the bird season opens.
What does it hurt. If it goes 400 yards who cares there is nothing behind us for miles plus I am shooting steel which is cool vs the standard lead trap loads.

I was given 11 Cases of Imperial High-Brass loads, 500 round Distributor cases, I still have a case and a half if someone wants a box or two for old times sake. They are all marked 11.49$. I have squirreled away a few hundred 6's, they are my prefered upland load.
