well witht he weather finaly turning around i made up some loads and went down the the range. i loaded up some 75gr hornandy hpbt with varget all groups where pretty nice this here is the best so far for a 3 shot group.

Huh? Looks great to me. If you can keep a 5-shot group consistently under .5 moa based on these preliminary results, you've got a definite keeper. FWIW, if this is the situation, your load development is done if you're happy with the velocity achieved. Load em' up and start shootin'!

.49" isn't too shabby for the first run.

Now you need to tweek the load by going up and down .1 or .2 grains.

in those pics i was running 25 grains of varget, in a winchester case and winchester small rifle primer. all the loads i tried had decent groups but those are by far the best im going to load up another bunch and try what repete said. the hardest thing is trying to keep your cool when your looking down range through a nightforce scope and seeing a group like that, damn those things are clear.
