Took The Plunge Today

Wife and I bought pistols each today. She got the Beretta PX4 Inox and I bought the H&K P30L. Both in 9mm. We were shooting a CZ75B at shooting Edge (we are members now) and wife found it a little too heavy for her. I have been away from pistols for decades, except for a few hours last winter using a friends 9mm /cz75 in Arizona, and immediately started doing 8" rapid fire groups at 20M. That pistol is nice to shoot but my choice for the H&K was based on viewing many reviews by good knowledgable shooters such as Hickok45 on youtube. Just waiting for the Transfer form to come through then we should pick them up soon.

I too am waiting on a transfer. Days seem like weeks, don't they?
 
Thanks everyone for the encouragement. As I said we reviewed lots and came up with what we thought would be a happy balance for pistols. They are both light guns similar weight to Glocks but most of all we wanted hammer not striker fired. Wife needs to learn DA technique as well.
 
RKM - Transfer Notification came today so should have licence (c/w ATT) and registration in mail soon if those posties don't go haywire on us. Need those to take gun to club range.
 
Great choice...havn't shot the inbox...but I've nearly bought 2.....love the Hk, it is a beautiful pistol..enjoy
