Tool to shape ammunition.

S D I have been using my Paco tool alot this spring and the Nastinose accessory really does some serious damage on small game ie gophers, the Nasti acc is used to really open up factory hollow point ammo and when you hit a gopher with one of these rounds you get a loud thwap and the damage is impressive to say the least. I have only used the ammo in bolt rimfires so if you have a 10/22 I can't vouch for how well it will feed.FS

Thanks Fassteel, what model do you have? On the site there is two model?
And i don't have a 10/22, i have an F/N Trombonne, and a 64G , Henry H001 lever action.

Which model

S D I bought the Delux model 3 I think its called. It comes with the dish shaped tool , the Nastinose, and the Lil' Scorp'n for work on solid nosed ammo, which I haven't tried yet. I sent Paco a money or for $62.00 US dollars in Arizona and about 3 weeks later my product showed up in the mail. You have to tell him which ammo you are mostly going to use the tool with and which of your rifles that you will mostly use the ammo in. Then after you start making and using this ammo you have to re- sight in your rifle for the way it shoots and groups. So even though I have 2 BRNO model 2E's scoped with the same glass one seems to shoot slightly better than the other.
Now that said I have messed around with the tool on other ammo brands and some of my other 22's with mixed results. So if you have a gun and ammo combo thats already a tack driver, it really can't improve your accuracy, but the nastinosed rounds ill improve its lethality in a big way. Some folks say well dead is dead and I agree but the additional damage that the nastinose does to the head or on a body shot is impressive.
Any other questions? FS
