Top CGN sponsors for reloading components?

Budget Shooter Supply is also really good. His shipping chrges are very hard to beat. Plus I have spoken to him a few times and he is a really nice guy!

Make sure you read your ship notification email too. It's hilarious.

I know, right!? Laughed my ass off.

In alphabetical order and what I usually buy from each:

Higginson Powders: for anything Lee

Tradeex: for PPU brass

X-Reload: for those General Dynamics .308 bullets and IVI brass mainly, and other brass as I need it.

X-Reload's shipping is downright scary. I clicked the submit button on my order and the doorbell rang. FedEx was there with my brass and bullets.

Spooky.

ya, I called them once and before I hung up the phone the guy said the Boss is leaving now with your order. The carrier must be next door or something

The best part is it says Disco Tech industries on the box. Fooled my wife a couple times. Now she knows though...

I get most my stuff from x-reload.com or westernmetal.ca and bullets from bullet barn love x-reload.com but take a long time to ship but I'm on other side of country in Edmonton.. Blows my mind how fast stuff comes from bullet barn considering they don't charge much for shipping

Xreload has the best inventory imho with good prices. Shipping isn' free but FedEx (for powder+primers) is very fast, faster than UPS and canpar (don't get me started on canpar...). If you're in BC and buy from xreload, you only pay GST.

Budget and western metal have good prices, but shipping is a bit expensive unless you order for more than 300$ at Western. Their inventory is really limited compared to x-reload.

Western has good prices on component (bullets and powders). But their prices on equipment (press, dies, etc...) is totally out of whack, the same item can cost 30% more at western than at Budget, x-reload or even amazon. To give you one example, a lee loadmaster:
355$ at x-reload
390$ at budget
470$ at western metal
Budget and xreload will charge about 20$ shipping. Shipping charges don't increase very much when the shipment increase in size/weight, so if you order multiple accessories/brass/dies they're roughly shipping free after that 20$.

I also sometimes order from cabela's because they offer free shipping and sometimes their prices are good on some stuff.

In no order:

X reload
Budget Shooter Supply
Western Metal
Canada Ammo
The Ammo Source (SFRC)
Freedom Ventures
Rusty Wood Trading.

People not on the CGN list:
Murray Gardner (was cheapest at the time with in stock Dillon equip)
Amazon

I've used them all, and they are all good. I always comparative shop when I'm buying stuff, so it varies on sales, shipping and whatnot.

The challenge I keep running into is that I'm in the "R & D" phase of my reloading, and I'm looking for small batches of bullets, brass, powder, tools, etc. It feels like each vendor (including guys on the EE) only have 1 or 2 items I'm looking for, so I'd end up paying shipping costs a dozen times at a dozen different places. Not to mention some of the little bits I need mean paying more in shipping than the part is worth.

Once I've settled on some loads I like, I'm sure this reloading thing will get cheaper... right?... Right?... Right?....

P+D. It's pretty much a given that any time I am in Edmonton I stop in, and I'll be carrying a list from friends too.

Hirsch for anything Lapua.
