Top five accessory for a modernized norinco m14

My first five:
• NM Spring guide
• SEI USCG brake
• USGI glas stock (bedded)
• Tac-latch
• Unitized and shimmed gas

Six, seven and eight on mine:
• proper sights
• Sadlak QD post for a Harris bipod
• A.R.M.S. #18 mount (does not remove the need for proper sights...)

I did not sign a release for publication of my ACU-clad lard ass in that photo, Barney...

For me, there are 4 must haves...

Spring guide
Garand rear sight assembly
USGI fiberglass stock
Gas system shim

Cheers
Jay

This plus a reloading press, and you're laughing. IMHO and YMMV, the classic M14, untacticooled, is all the fun of a 10/22 with thirty times the power and ten times the range. But whatever turns your crank.

ya know, with all the rifles I've built and the array of accessories I've been fortunate enough to install, it's the ones dressed with good irons and walnut that I take the most pleasure in building/shooting. Just somethin about steel and quality wood ;)
