Topping a new Ruger 10/22 with…..?

Dont' need the glass to break the bank on this one, but would like some suggestions for my new Ruger 10/22….

I put a 3x9 Bushnell Banner on mine and to me the scope is all I need for hunting or the at the range.

I would go 1-4, 1-6 power or fined a 2-7 power scope

A Bushnell banner works on my 10/22 as well as anything else and has held up well at the range

I put a Nikon Prostaff 3-9x40 BDC on my Savage 17 HMR and absolutely love it. Great scopes, crystal clear glass, and good eye relief, all at a very reasonable price.

I went with a 2-7x Leupold - nice scope! It wasn't my first choice though - I wanted the Nikon.

I agree with a Nikon of some sort, i have 2 Prostaff EFR'S 3-9x40 on my 10/22's great scopes for the price point

I put a Simmons 1\30 red dot on mine 70 buck at Walmart and it has held zero for a few thousand rounds so far and seems to be a solid built unit

I did the Burris .22lr Droptine, 2-7x. Nice scope on the 10/22.

Sightron SIH 2-7X35 rimfire, Vortex CFII 2-7X32 rimfire or DB 2-7X35 rimfire, Burris Droptine rimfire or Nikon Prostaff rimfire without BDC would be on my list. If you have 400$ go with Vortex DB HP 2-8X32. Love mine.

I've ran cheap .22 scopes in the past as always thought meh good enough for plinking and gophers, but after having decent glass and I'm not talking real high end just decent quality and glass and turrets I got rid of the junk and never again, with blurry can't get to zero proper scopes. If budget is low look at used lots of people upgrade and nothing wrong with what they are selling, or if no rush wait for a sale.

I have a Leupold ultimate slam 2-7x33 on my 10/22 target and it is a great combo.
