Topping a new Ruger 10/22 with…..?

Bushnell red dot on mine.
Might eventually switch for a bushnell AR 1-4 throw down illuminated.
Decided to dump the 3-9 when even at 3x I couldnt find the grouse in the scope, and I could see it with my bare eyes. By the time I fould it in the scope, it got away.
Will keep a 1x on close range grouse rifles now. 4x is useful for range or longer shots, but not worth loosing the 1x to me. So either red dot or 1-4.
