torn between different .22lr pistols, help me decide

I have a 22/45 mkIII. This thing is very accurate, will take virtually any brand of ammo and is reliable as f##k.

I've been down this road. Owned both Brands. Went back to Ruger MKIII. IMO Ruger shoots better, made better(real steel), will outlast you....

If you are considering the 1911 style ( like the GSG ) I urge you to look at the Browning 1911 . Every time I'm out with mine , I realize I have a goofy smile on my face . It's a hoot to shoot , very accurate , and extremely well built IMO . I sure love it .

^^^This. My Browning 1911-22 even cycles on subsonic ammo.

I own a ruger MKIII and would never sell it because it's dead on accurate, last long and eats up anything.

Fun factor of the Ruger is meh, but I`m starting to look for a 2nd pistol for that. If that Bersa Thunder .22lr had a shorter barrel, I'd be all over it.

thanks for all the suggestions guys... decision is not getting easier... but im sure i would be satisfied with any pistols in the thread

just to make my choice harder now... i found a mark 3 hunter stainless at around 575$ tx in shipped ... that thing look good...

I've put a right handed Hogue grip on it (rubber), with finger grooves

That piece is a beauty. Fluted barrels are one "practi-cool" option.

did you buy one too Islay? because it went up to 699$ just after i decided to buy it on the site
hope you did too

Yes I did.

After talking with you earlier Friday, I thought about it throughout the day. Talked myself right into it. It's a pistol that's been on my shopping list for some time now, and the price sealed the deal.

Thanks again - I owe you a beverage.
