Well after the show we managed to get out coyote hunting. After about thirty mins of calling this one walked out about 65 yds away.

LBO, It was a female and in really good shape and yup its the mini 14. We skinned it out and will probably do it up for him as it would be unique for him to have.

I do like using the mini 14 topped with decent optics. Its nice and light and doubles as my plinking rifle. Not the normal choice, but i like it.

Mine is topped with a fixed 3x32 and works fine for where I hunt around Norfolk. Up north on the hydro cutsI like more magnification and use my 243 with a 4-12.
