Torque wrench/screwdriver

Hey guys, I am looking for a decent quality torque wrench/screwdriver for scope installations, etc. I have seen the Wheeler Fat Wrench and I'm curious as to whether or not it's worth the money? What is everyone else using and where did they pick them up?
 
Strange that you ask about that tool because I received mine yesterday in my Wheeler Pro Scope mounting kit.

In the instruction sheet they mention +-2 pounds ''sensitivity'' just make sure that you return the tool to ''zero'' after each use.

I'm using a Utica TS-35 that I bought from a dealer on ebay. Around $70.00. Nice all metal, made in the USA. Makes the wheeler FAT look cheap.
 
Warne makes a scope ring torque wrench that breaks at 25 in/lb. Around 20 bucks at Brownells. Unless you can figure out what else you can do with a variable adjusting one they are pretty much useless and not worth the cost.

Bases:30 in/lb
Rings screws: 15 in/lb
Rem action screws: 65 in/lb

Some of the shooters that post at Rimfire Central have found some luck with tuning the action screws, finding that somewhere between 18-30 in/lbs they achieve the best accuracy on the CZ rimfires. Allows you to incrementally increase the torque on the screws and observe the results. Its a worthwhile tool to have, much better than guessing at the above figures.

Consider yourself lucky you are not trying to figure out if it's Tru Oil or Tung Oil you need, that idiotic thread has been going on for 3 months now. Weld the f*ckers on.
