Tough finding the perfect stock/chassis

I use an MDT LSS with a Hera Arms folding stock adapter. For a light build the LSS chassis is hard to beat. I'm running an AAC-SD 16.5" barrel, ctr stock +riser. With the scope and bipod attatched its 12.54 lbs

The folder is great, no slop when locked open but when in the folded position it only has spring tension to keep it folded.

Seems like Hera Arms folding adapter has ball bearing inside, I got MDT one, it is loose. Adding velcro, hope that works
Btw, I have MDT LSS version, not Xl one, was debating and got it, but that adapter add length, so be careful with scope.
However, weight is ffne for me

Yea I'm also going to try velcro, wish there was a better solution :/

I'm still slowly picking at a design that should do all that... but been too busy with other more important projects.
It is a little hard to go much under 4lbs, I was right around that for my FTR design, but I know my detach mag design will be a bit under 4lbs once done.
Everything else I looked at(at least online and a few in person) had features/design issues or were flat out ugly, and the few that aren't come with a ridiculous cost.
I'm hoping to get back to this project during winter.

Do you have a pic of your setup you could share. I have a 16.5 and i'm looking at option on what to stick it in.

I would definitely take a look at the LSS. It makes a nice lightweight handy package, especially with the folder.
