Tough time finding 9mm powder. Suggestions?

Welcome to the world of reloading. You are in the same situation as the rest of us. Just keep your eyes open and snap up some when you can. If you have a local Cabela's then keep checking there. There are several online shops that get stock every 2 months or so

The powder situation has definitely been getting better. Keep checking your local shops and you are bound to find some in a reasonable amount of time. I have gathered 30lbs of pistol powder by buying a jug here and there. If I were looking to hoard I could easily have gathered hundreds of pounds but I'm not looking to add to the situation. Just need enough to keep myself well stocked.

in toronto area, it has been easy to find powder, may be a few dollar more per pound, but always something in stock somewhere. I got HS-6 & Longshot a few months ago, also found W231 and now CFE pistol in stock. le baron is one good place to find powder. then a few of the local stores here

I just tried out some 9mm 124gr FMJ-RN loads with Titegroupe and HS-6. Got really good results with 6.2gr of HS-6, not so much with 4gr of Titegroupe. Might try less of the tightgroupe next time.
I also tried the same powders in some 357mag and 38sp loads, which I found the Titegroupe performed really well with 357, and just as good as HS-6 with the 38sp.

CFE Pistol, Bullseye, Winchester 231, Winchester Auto Comp, Accurate #5

Also HP38 (same powder as Win 231), Vihtavouri N320, N330, N340, N350, Red Dot, Blue Dot, Clays, WSF.

Some of these are more suitable for higher power loads and some for lighter target loads but all will work.

Try some of the smaller gun shops. I have managed to find old stock powder that was brought in for shotgun reloaders but work well for handguns. In the past year I have bought WSF, SR 7625, true blue and others. Not as popular as some but will work.
