I just picked up a toz 12 and when i tried it out i had to crank the rear sight way over to the right to line it up witch seemed a bit strange so i figured i would take some pictures and post them up here and se if you could figure it out.

hmmmm

Looks a little off to me. I don't know if those barrels are press fit or threaded. If it is press fitted you could always stick the barrel in a vise and twist the reciever back straight in line with it. if it is threaded this should also work. I have done it with a couple older cooeys but never had to mess with a toz, and I have seen a few of them.

I have not held one of these rifles, but it looks like to front site slides on a dovetail so you should be able to drift it back to the center. If that isn't the case then I think you might be able to loosen the muzzle weight (probably a set-screw?) and turn that.
Cheers,
Grant

so it looks like i need to twist this thing back into line.
anybody know for shure if the barrels are pressed in or threaded?
any sugestions on how to grab the barrel in a vice and not scratch the crap out of itand just how tight are they should i be heating before trying to twist it?
thanks

Wrap the barrel with a piece of leather and tighten in a vise, try twisting the reciever without heat first, it may break free easy and turn. you might be able to get a wrench on the action somewhere to twist. If you have to add heat wrap cold rags around the barrel so just the reciever is taking the heat, don't use to much heat, I would suggest a little at a time until she moves. when it cools if the barrel still moves pin the reciever in place with a couple ggod blows on a center punch, one on each side of the reciever. I have yet to see anything twisted out that bad.

I think you'd better find someone who knows for sure how those barrels are attached to the receiver. Have you looked over at rimfirecentral? I'd try to find a barrel vice, or take two pieces of hard wood and use a hole saw down the parting line to make a jaw that clamps around the barrel. And then you need another fixture for the receiver. Hopefully it is easy to turn. Good luck.
