Just picked up one of these little guys knowing full well about the ammo limitations, keeping to standard(1070fps). What kind of round counts have people gotten from these? I'm not worried about breakage too much because I can make up some new parts with proper tool steels at work or home, just wondering how many spare sears and charging handles to make up, haha.

Nice little carbines and look forward to getting it out hunting.

Already nearly 500 shots on mine (pic). It's a great little 22LR semi-auto. Very accurate. Like yourself, I've been shooting only standard velocity ammo mostly CCI Standard and SK Magazine. Never had any problems with sights.

Mine broke in less than a 1000 rounds. Imp9ssible to get parts too. Was great until it broke. The firing pin spring guild striped it's self for no reason and came off while firing and messed the firing pin spring all to hell

Neighbour had one . Broke it's sear rather quickly [ firing CCI Mini Mags ] . I made him up a sear , told him to use standard velocity ammo and now it's his favorite plinker . He has put thousands of rounds through it and it runs flawlessly .

The parts that are breaking appear to be fairly easy to make and I am hoping mine will hold up using the standard vel cci.

I love how easily it breaks down for cleaning and the way it points. After putting a couple hundred rounds through it it has not missed a beat yet and the range markings seem to be pretty close, I was ringing a 6x6" steel at 100 yards a few times with the open sights. Still not fully sighted in yet though.

I've always liked the idea (almost bought a "Wildcat" HB a couple of years back) but got scared-off by parts availability. Sounds like I made the right call. The fewer things that break down in my life, the better. lol I have enough of those without having to contend with .22 rifle issues when I finally get some free time to shoot!

I have not heard any issues about the wildcat/toz78 and I would buy one in a heartbeat if I could still find one. Sadly they have dried up for now.

The TOZ-78 is a bolt action 22LR rifle which is quite different than the TOZ-99 which is a semi-auto. The technical issues with some breaking parts mentioned above are limited to the TOZ-99. The TOZ-78 has never had any problems.
