Tp9 Help

Why did they call it a Carbine?

If it was a Pistol, 10 round mags would be a done deal.

I like them too. But who wants a 5 round mag. Same with the USC, I would like one....but not with 5 round mags.

I 2nd that. I mounted an Eotech on mine initially ... amazing accuracy (5 round groups were dead on).

I do want a T1 micro dot for this and yes 10 round mags. I managed to score 6 spare 30/5 and this so I am happy to keep this for now...

Thats what mine will look like:)
I have a Micro T-1 already for it.Just waiting for the transfer to go threw.:(

The TP-9 is just so damn ###y. Now that I know it can be had without the foregrip I want one even more. Shooting one then giving it back was painful.

On a related note, some seem to prefer the permanent foregrip. I find it silly given the gun is only S\A. Any reason you guys like it over the much more versatile railed version?

This...

...with 10rnd mags and I am in!

Exactly!! B&T even market the new ones as the TP9 PISTOL not a freakin rifle.

The dealers are missing the boat on this one, if 10rd mags were legal for it would be a big seller up here.

I am very well aware how sales would increase if 10 rd mags were available! First we need a TP9 PISTOL, well for what it's worth we worked closely with B &T and preseneted a TP9 PISTOL to the RCMP/CFC along with dedicated 10 rd mags, she was rejected. I was told the issue would not be discussed in writing, there was no appeal other than through my MP. See my previous post.

That is a long story, I tried to get a TP9 Pistol accepted, I was told I had made a good effort but "no dice" and that nothing more would be said in writing. I looked at my options, take them to court, or save my money and go Ellie hunting. The rest is history.

From now one they shall be known as "No Dice Men".:kickInTheNuts:

Good effort there guys, it's still great that you brought the TP-9 to the market, fantastic gun. I might have to get one again after seeing the fake can...

The molded front grip model is very stable to shoot as per the original smg version. I have a receiver top cover that is stamped "MP9" that has a side mounted picatinny rail as well for accessories. Besides, the molded grip model looks better in my opinion......looks more like an smg. Get one while you can...they are great to shoot and worth the price.

Ack!

Knowing that the pistol mags are labeled "PISTOL" is upsetting... how is it different when compared to the RRA AR15 Pistol mags?

It's frustrating. Could one compare this with the RRA mags and "cheaply" have a layer or the like bring it to the attention of the CFC/RCMP to reverse the decision?

It my mind it is a magazine made (and clearly marked) for the pistol version of the firearm.

Take a close look below, we at least deserve an A for effort. "Missing the boat" indeed ! Even the mag reads TP9 Pistol.

Thanks for your efforts!! That just goes to show that the RCMP are over stepping their bounds, since when do they get to make up their own laws?

A question, wouldnt these TP9 pistol mags fall under the same rules as every other magazine? They are a pistol mags stamped and made by the manufacturer to be used with their pistol not a carbine.

100 buck donation for 10 rounders in a TP9?!?!?

I'd do it! Count me in!!! Where do I send the funds?

I wouldn't expect a drop in the price though, court cases are not cheap.

This is definately winnable. There are most definately pistol varients of the TP9, and there should be no reason why magazines for such should not be approved

The RCMP can't tell us that this is not a pistol:

But somehow these are:
