Trac Optic

I have been using a Tract Toric 4.5-30X56 ELR MRAD on a custom .308 for a few years now. Thankfully you don't have to apply for an import permit anymore, to get one.
The optic I have that I compare it to is my Nightforce NXS 8-32X50 (Mil-XT reticle), and they are close in price.
The Tract adjustment knobs are bigger and actuate differently. Both rotate smoothly with discernable clicks when adjusting. Both have good parallax adjustment knobs and focus rings. The Tracts are ever so slightly smoother. The glass seems very comparable, with my preference being the Tract, however that probably has more to do with it being a 56mm vs a 50mm objective, and also having a bigger tube size. The reticles are almost identical, both in Mils.
It performed perfectly in temperatures below -25 C. I can't speak to toughness as I haven't abused it, but the Nightforce seems more robust to me.
It was a distinct improvement on the Vortex Viper HST 6-24X50 that performed reliably for many years (and is now on a different rifle), but at double the price I would hope so.
I haven't had any issues with the Tract Toric, so I can't speak to that side of Tract's customer service. The communication during the purchasing and import/export time was very good.
I think you will be very happy with your purchase. I don't regret mine.

I have good feeling of this purchase, your feedback is very motivating lol, thanks

The main thing I gleaned from all the vids and reviews I looked at, this was even before buying a Delta, which I'd also bought sight unseen, was that the LOW chassis builds were a really good product, at a price point for sure, and that there were a good number of mfgrs that had recognized that it was, and went with it, that price point zone is pretty competitive these days. All were selling =/- a couple hundred bucks, main improvements made to some of the originals were turret features, reticle changes or additions, parallax adj improvements, Trijicon had the two coloured reticles, Tract had the German glass, Delta has a popup turn indicator, that sort of stuff. Bushnell has/had LOW scopes, so does Nightforce and a few others. Don't think there is anything wrong with the JLO ones either, they've built scopes for the name brand mfgrs too. Zeiss has and has had scopes built in Japan by these companies, MC Conquests, V4. You will get your money's worth from them, and probably be pretty impressed by what you get for it. Tract guys are ex-Nikon, they know what they are doing.
