Hi,
there is a year, I man in BC had few crates of 7,62x39 tracer ammo and he wants to sell me a crate ( don't remember how many ammo) for ~ 1000$ with shipping. Like I just need 100-200 tracers rnds and as I just lost my leg ... and my job, I had to reduce bigs expenses, so, I try to forget the tracer idea.Lol.

But...
since few weeks, I started a second search to find 7,62x39 tracer ammo... All answers I received come from BC, Alberta and Manitoba. On 6 sellers, only 2 want to ship it. The price was 3$ to 4$/round before shipping.
No one came from Quebec.

Why there are 7,62x39 tracer in the West ? And don't see anything in the east ?
Why the price is so high ? ( offers vs ask, l'offre et la demande ) ?
Do you know who Can help me in this search ? Ask to a friend, maybe he could help me...

You know, since all my badlucks, I had time to learn many things on history, weapons, people and myself when I gone to gun club.

Thanks to help me.

Louis

There's some in the EE but they are currently 200$ for 100 rounds, won't be seeing more of this anytime soon most likely so people will ask what they want for it

The only who sell it 2$/each don't want to ship it. So, I have to respect his choice.
All others sellers who contacted me want 3$/each...even 4$/each + shipping.
I know shipping is expensive, I cannot do anything for it.

At 2$/each I have to find a member who can buy it and ship it to me.
If somebody interested to do intermediate in Lethbridge, or Medecine Hat , Alberta. Let me know.
Seller can drop it to you, and you can ship it to me after.

It's in the west because it was imported by a Vancouver dealer. Shortly thereafter it's sale was ordered stopped by NRCAN and the remainder was exported.

Guys who got it before it was pulled off the market will make out like bandits at $2.00/round if they have not shot it all! That would be $3,040.00/case when they were sold for what a couple hundred+ when available. You should have bought the crate for $1,000.00 then sold off what you didn't want, you could have made a little profit and still had yourself a few hundred rounds.

And sorry to hear about the troubles.

You will find it difficult to get someone to ship tracer ammo as it would classed differently than regular ball ammo. You will have to do some research on the topic at NRCAN as ammunition come under their jurisdiction. The couriers have their rules and regulation they have to follow when it comes to dangerous goods. You may be able to find a buyer to ship it if you make the arrangements for the pick up and delivery. It is not necessarily illegal to have tracer ammo, shipping it and then where to shoot it will be your big concerns.

As you said crashcollins, I must buy it when I saw it..but it was near the time That I had my surgery...
Thanks for all infos guys.
Now, I'm waiting a right person who want to ship it to me before the seller don't have it.
When I find this person, I will contact seller.
Thanks in advance
Louis
