Tracer availability in Canada?

I am pretty sure that tracer rounds are legal in Canada, so I was wondering if anyone would know of a source for .30-06 and .223 tracer rounds in Canada? I'm not looking for a large quantity, perhaps a dozen of each to help sighting in some scopes out to 300M

yes they are legal, a while ago you could buy .22 tracers made eley? I think thats the spelling.. .223 tracers are hard to get cause they are used by military, however there is an easy way to get around all of this if you are a reloader, hint :wink: ... its hard and dangerous to make tracer ammo on your own without the proper equipment; i dont think home-made ammo that has an illuminated path (of sorts) is worth seriously maiming yourself or others over..........

Check with 'dizzy dan 1' as he sometimes has tracers for sale and he is a top-notch guy to deal with!

BTW: Can someone look into finding out who in Canada carrys parts (springs, barrels, trigger sears, and other internals spring assembly etc... ) for the VZ58? ( consider this a trade in INFO) thanks.

Trace won't help you sight in and a lot of ranges won't let you shoot them. A spotting scope will though.
