I've been looking for tracer rounds for a while now for 22 caliber and 308 also for 270 and a 7mm 08 does anybody here know where I can get some I live in Edmonton Alberta
Yep, that's what I'd noticed. While technically any explosive in your possession has to be on the List of Authorized Explosives to be lawful, there's so much old ammunition out there which isn't I can't imagine how that would be enforced or even stand a court challenge.I was always quick to point out that tracers were illegal according to the explosives act, however, the new explosives act seems (and I may be incorrect) not to mention them as being illegal..........

It is possible to get tracers in 556 and 762 because those are military calibers. There will be no 270 tracers because no military uses that caliber. It might be possible to find some old WWII german tracers in 7mm but the chances of that are pretty small.
And tracers are perfectly legal.
Yeah no, they ain't.And tracers are perfectly legal.
