I have always defaulted to VX3’s for my hunting and general purpose scopes. Value for money, quality and local backup and service are all appealing factors. I prefer a BDC reticle over dialling and the newer VX3HD’s are hard or impossible to find the with B&C reticle. The CDS-ZL works, but I am not a huge fan.
I am ignorant of many of the more recent brands like Tract but the Toric range seems to get good reviews.
Have any of you used the 1” tubed Toric 2-10x42 or 3-15x42? Their warranty seems good, and they have Canadian distribution. I believe the scope is very similar to some of the Athlon and Stryker LOW made scopes. I like that they have a good BDC reticle but you can also dial if you want to, if you remove the turret caps.
Thanks!
