Trade Ex Military Surplus Mystery Box #2

OK (had some electron difficulties), so here goes.

Mystery box arrived today. Several leather and webbing pieces, some of which will go straight to File 13 as not worth giving house room. Several interesting metal bits, and a book. At least two similar items to the Box #3 posted tonight.

Item #26 proves the folks at TradeEx have a wicked sense of humour.

And for your viewing pleasure, a very nice surprise. If you own Zastava M-57 serial number N259816, I have your record booklet, with Serbian technical inspection records. Note how the rubber stamp advanced 1987, 1988, 1989.

All items for sale if you need one.

Lots of M98 parts. 13 is an ejector/bolt stop probably from a Turkish 1903 or similar action, 7 is a M98 recoil lug, 8 is a M98 bolt sleeve stop, 11 looks like a band spring from a VZ-24 or something similar. 15 might be a rear pillar tube from a M98? Can't tell.

I agree with 13 is Turkish. It is marked with a hollow star and a crescent moon over two Arabic numbers. The ejector is there, but the rest is battered.

The butt plate has no numbers, is a simple stamping and the top screw is angled in on the top corner.

19 is plastic, and looks like a finger rest for a small calibre semi-auto handgun. I wonder if the magazine spring and it go together?

Pretty sure #7 is a mosin crossbolt...

17 looks like it might be a Swedish Mauser barrel band spring, although I can’t quite make out the location of the cleaning rod hole or the profile of the band end.
2 looks like a Swedish Mauser firing pin spring, really close anyway - dimensions are tough to judge even with the tape
