Trade guns with a gun in Alberta but I am in Ontario

Hey Guys,

I want to know what is the best way to trade guns with a guy in Alberta.
1. Do I ship it via Canada Post ?
2. Does Canada Post check that he has a PAL?
3. Should I ship with insurance and tracking number?
4. Is there any way to protect myself so that when I send my gun he sends his? He seems like a reasonable guy through email so I think I can trust him
5. Anything else I should know when do the trade

you could also use SKYPE to confirm to each other that your both legit and have the items being traded

Not weird. I used to have an account under BigK75 that was more active but then I changed my email and lost the password. That was 10 years ago or so. I am getting back into hunting and found a nice gun in Albert on Gun Post. Since I have never traded a gun before I thought I would ask some questions.

Okay I will go take a read. I searched for Gun Post and ####### and could not find anything on the forum. Can you point me to any threads. Now I am super nervous.

4. Is there any way to protect myself so that when I send my gun he sends his? NO He seems like a reasonable guy through email so I think I can trust him USE YOUR JUDGEMENT
5. Anything else I should know when do the trade GET ALL HIS INFO - name address phone etc

Forget doing any trades with anyone from #######.

or - tell him to ship his rifle, once you get it you will ship yours - see what he says....

he will say NO because he doesnt trust you. So dont trust him

Trust is a 2 way street
