Hi all.
here we go again. the second part of my dealing with TradeEx arrived today.

My TT33, 1945 manufacture, matching mags, holster, lanyard, etc.

Wonderful condition, beautiful bore, tight and nice.

Again wonderful service from TradeEx,
Called the CFO, was told transfers were done,

emailed TradeEx, got a reply that they checked and mailed the TT33.
the next day at 1PM, it arrived, again wonderfully packaged as was the M91/30.

Again I must apologize for the grainy pics, video camera, etc

Beauty!

I need to get my restricted before they run out of those things. $600 for a pistol and 2000 rounds of ammo, you can't beat that!

BBQ,

You'll be looking like that political commisar in the picture you wanted to duplicate in no time at all. All you need is some kulaks and peasants to herd to the front and amass them for a traditional Soviet wave attack. Good ole' steamroller tactics to crush the invader.:)
Waving that nice TT33 around will motivate any 'no goodniks' who have ideas other than participating in the cry of 'Hooorah' and charge into the line as they start the attack.

Oh yeah, get some 'kishka' to heat up and spread over your rye bread on those few quiet evenings (when your waiting for your next train load of conscripts) on the front.:)

Hey Steiner that Commisar is my grandfather!
And he's the most anti-communist person ever!

He spent most of his last years as part of the conservative party of canada as well as one of the forefronts of the Ukrainian nationalist party.
unfortunately he died before he could see the soviets dissolve :(
####ing ciggarettes.

that's him en route to berlin after the war as the head of the reorganization committee!

Actually I was just going to ask you about your avatar - good timing to explain it. I did notice the fellow (who you just explained is your grandfather) was dressed in Canadian garb. I was wondering what the significance was.

I was refering to an earlier post when you were asking about where to get kit to look like the fellow in 'this picture' (looked like a Soviet commisar)- or maybe I got you confused with some else's post?

Must be confused with another post.
the only post i made about uniforms had no photos and was just a request for links and stuff.

My grandfather is the greatest hero of all time.

Laaaaa, la la la la lAAA la la....Laaaa , la la la la lAA, la la..

Now you need a Nagant revolver to compliment the M91 :) Preferably something from the Tsarist era.

Here's the rolls stamp off mine:

(P&S militaria acquisition from maybe a year or more ago - but they still have Nagants in stock)

They shoot fine in Single Action, but double-action has a HORRIBLE trigger pull.

Ammo is a reload-only proposition unless you want to pay $50+ per box of fiocci and due to the crimp they use, you'll likely split many of the cases on the Fiocci brass.

I use Starline brass myself. Bought on the bay.

well, rest assured that once the lame canadian government waiting game is over, the shipping waiting game will be over without even starting!

shipping is so friggin fast with tradeex!

gotta get a nine barrel for this tok!

I'm kinda mad! I've got TT-33 from TradeEx with lots of scratches.. :(. I'll stay away from that company now. Asked for good L40 holster - got crap (have to fix it), asked specifically for a nice TT-33 (collecting, not shooting) - got crap... Maybe I'm not lucky, but it's not the point, I'm upset.

Anyway, Nagant is a good revolver. I shot using double action hitting bullet into the same spot few time (you can see the second hole, but it was 70% in the other). Reloading is the pain. I shot about 300 rounds so far and can't complain. Target ammo is the easiest to shoot.

There was the time when I only had five, but now I found at least 3 companies that make it (one of them is surplus that sold by Ukraine). Price bites, but steel more or less reasonable. Occasionally I run out of money and list some ammo on EE, but the last time I listed 4 pack of nagant ammo 3 were sold almost right away and the 4th pack went to my neighbour. However, most ammo sold locally and whatever I list on EE is timbits of what I had.

Also, some people also shoot .XX S&W Long, but you will have to do some cleaning after each shooting. It would cost you a little bit less than original Nagant ammo.
