For you guys that have purchased things from Tradeex, what was the average processing and turnaround time from the shop? I put in an order yesterday, and while I received an invoice at that time, I haven't heard anything about shipping confirmation or my payment being processed or anything. Not a big deal either way, mostly just curious how long it takes the shop to process an order, and if I should be concerned. (I know they are a site sponsor, so I'm not too worried.)

Thanks guys.

My experiences have always been about a week from order to item being received. While they don't really confirm shipping or payment processing, they are really good to deal with and I'm always pleased.

....usually ship within 48 hours.

This sounds sweet!!! It means my toys will (hopefully) be arriving any time now. Ordered a Husqy 22 and shotgun. Some low down scurvy gunnut bought the rolling block 22 before me.
I thought for sure you guys heard me claim it! :p :D

(E)

The best customer service in Canada, bar none! My last order, I paid using VISA, and received a Canada Post tracking number the next day.

Rifle was better than described, double boxed, and arrived in Whitehorse six days later.

Thanks guys.

They're real fast; both rifles I ordered from them arrived in under a week.

I ordered a Husqvarna in late July. But the son was on holiday so that week
all you could do was put a downpayment on a rifle.

I bought the rifle the next Monday and got it by courier on Thursday.
(So three days.)

I ordered a Merkel double from them and had it in my hands in a week. And I still lived in the WAY North and frozen. When I ordered my 9.3x62 it arrived in about the same time. They're awesome. I refuse to go to their site anymore because it costs me too much money. :D

Well this is great news then. I too paid Visa, but nothing was processed on my bank statement, and I haven't received any confirmations or anything today. I always worry when sending visa stuff through email, but from the sounds of things, I don't have anything to worry about. Maybe an early holiday or something haha.

Anyway, thanks so much guys for putting my mind at ease. Sounds like I'm in good hands.

I seem to remember that the boys sometimes take off for moose hunting in October. But they're solid - I wouldn't worry.

turn around is always very fast. Just keep in mind though that if they send you a POS with obvious and or not obvious problems you get to pay shipping both ways. Plus you get to be the bad guy for returning something that they never inspected in the first place. Don't know if it has always been there but the invoices now state clearly that a lic gunsmith should inpsect the rifle before firing. (that is very good advice it turns out) Lots of nice rifles have come from there but I for one am no longer willing to pay 50 bucks to find out if a rifle has serious issues or to chase down miscalculated refund money.

I deal and dealt quite a lot with them. I'm sorry to read from your bad experience with them, but my own experience is totally different.
Their descriptions usually tend to be clear and on the conservative side, means the actual condition is usually much better than described. Unless it's a hidden defect wich can only be found by deep investigation, the description should picture it, but they can't shoot the rifles before shipping it to the customer, and they're used guns, so, like any other used guns, the best advise is to have it checked by a competent gunsmith (liability forces whoever sells used gun to write warnings on their invoices).
Also, they do not tend to be cheap on pictures, if requested.
If it's a POS, I really doubt they'd show a VG description for it.
And the way they handle freight charges is like anybody else does...

As for their "slow" response, they must be busy with new stuff and, after all it's hunting season for us all....
