Tradex has a large selection of Schultz and Larson .22s again...

Some of these have bolt knobs in the white and some blued and there is variation in stock design and finish. Anyone know what is original, or if things just changed over the production run?

This blog has lots of pics and break down of the m70/m77 models
http://billard85.########.ca/2014/01/bonjour-tous-je-cree-ce-blog-pour-faire.html?m=1

The pre-m70 models will have the extractor on the left side of the bolt, and a dovetail front sight vs the pressed on sight of the M70. It may also sport the original stock which is more sporter like then the heavy target style m77 stocks. It may also have a pre-m70 rear sight as well. These could be m24,m33, or m58 it would only be the serial number that could identify which one for sure as the rifles were upgraded by S&L for the shooting clubs when they made new variations if the owners wanted them.

More added in the last day or so. And judging by my watch list they must be selling one every couple hours or so.

I was going to sit out this round, but a dark satin finish one came up. By the shape of the trigger it should be a M77. Will find out soon enough.

I received a really nice model 70 yesterday. The only problem is the small allen screw that acts as a bolt retainer is missing. I spoke to Anthony at Tradex but he couldn't help.
Does anyone know what size this screw is, if I had this info I could try a source one from a fastener specialist.

Deja vu all over again, see post 272. Should be a 2.0 mm allen wrench and 0.5 metric on the thread gauge.

Went to my local Fastenal today. Closest dimension they have in their inventory is 2.5 mm Allen with 0.5 metric. I bought a box, just in case...
And of course, it didn't fit (a bit larger...)! ;-)
I confirm the 2.0 one will do perfectly. But now, guys, how to source it in Canada...?

Thanks! Yes, I saw it too but I really don't know if the 0.4 will fit. That is the question...

I bought my second as well. This summer my boys will learn how to shoot well. Simply outstanding for the price. I'll be looking for a third if another shipment comes in.

I picked up another M70 and M77....just too nice to pass up.
The M77 came with an adapter and a nice Gehmann diopter...worth about $100 on it's own. It's actually an M70 based on s/n but has the M77 trigger and bolt stop.

The M70
