I see lots of SKS modded with mags and bipods and I saw a cool looking French MAS. But the frenchrifle is already on hold. I wish I check these online dealers more often I am missing out big time on these cool rifles.

Should a guy check daily or does tradex update their site monthly or something?

You'd do well to check daily as they add new items on a regular basis. Certain much sought after firearms like the M38s they had in sold out within a day so sometimes you gotta really be on top of things.

Those M38's were sold out in like 15 hours. Very happy I got mine when I did.

If Tradeex gets more MAS rifles I'll probably have to get one.

Ya they sold out fast of m38 but you could still get a m38 in that package deal they had for 2 SKS, m38, long mosin, vz24. That's how I got mine.

So you guy's are upset that Tradex has the sense to keep their customer's happy by honouring a rifle on hold?

It's strange that a guy would be able to hold a cheap rifle for close to a month. How many paychecks must pass before this customer pulls the trigger. Maybe tradex will start a wait list on this rifle. The customer should really think about it if he can't afford it then wait until you have the cash to buy it. What is he doing trying to get financing from a bank? Just put it on a credit card and pay installments. And if he has no room on a credit card he should not even be holding this rifle.

Tradex should order more in. Is ammo available for that rifle?

If you want that MAS call them. A higher grade Husqvarna 1600 in 6.5X55 that I wanted was put on hold as soon as it made its appearance and stayed that way for weeks. I finally called them. They checked it and told me it is mine, on the phone.

Very irresponsible of some guys to put a hold on guns as soon as they pop up on their site and think about it later! A day or two... maybe, but weeks? I wouldn't be surprised if it is a few people who keep doing it.

I always wondered why there were some guns on hold for seemingly months on that site...

They are always very busy and do not get to update the website every day and sometimes forget to remove a sold listing straight away.

Also some guys put a deposit on a gun and then never follow through with full payment but Anthony is fair and gives them about 3 months to complete before pulling the hold and then re-listing as available again. Some guys also make payments in instalments which also takes time to complete the sale.

He also gets some one off guns like that French MAS rifle every now and again.

It is getting a lot harder to find and bring in ex-mil rifles now that the UN is mandating the destruction of military surplus small arms among UN signatory countries instead of their sale on the open market so people can now expect to wait a while before certain types come up for sale again if ever.

I had noticed that at the time, yeah. I really wanted that package deal, but it was around the holidays and despite it being a heck of a deal I didn't have the scratch for it while the deal existed. I hope you're enjoying your VZ. 24, that was one rifle I really liked the looks of.

Actually the vz24 is in the nicest shape it looks near new. I think it was revalued or painted or something. It does look really good. I am just not sure what round it is. I could part with it if you would want it. It has not been fired all I did was look at it.

There was also a m44 in with the deal. So 6 rifles for I think it was $949. It was a great deal about $150 a piece. The m38 and the m44 are easily $350 each.
