Hi all
Just got my K31 in the mail from Tradex, beautiful rifle except for one issue: it is missing the rear sight elevator. I emailed them about it, and I'm hoping they won't suggest that I send it back to them, as I am really quite taken with this rifle. (apart from an arsenal repair on the left side by the receiver, it has a very nice walnut stock, it's all matching and has a pristine bore.) Does anyone know where I can find a replacement rear sight/elevator for a K31? (Numrich doesn't have any in stock, nor do a few other places I have looked at).

If they don't have one, maybe you could ask if they could take the one from rifle SKU 17768 (top left on the second page for $195.00 with a ring in the bore) as it is already kinda a parts gun anyway.

Loved my first one so much, that I just ordered another one yesterday with a scope base.

Neat how they made it.
The leaf spring under the rear sight is quite stiff when you try to replace the straight pin to reinstall the sight leaf back into the rear sight base. An extra set of hands may be useful.

I am sure that Trade-Ex will be able to help you. Question: Did the original description of the rifle note that the rear sight slider was missing? Anthony is usually pretty good with his descriptions and tells it like it is, but something like the rear sight slider can be easily missed.

I would phone Trade-Ex and talk with Anthony. I see by their Website that they will not be there for about a week and a half, so be aware of that.

There was no mention of the rear sight slider missing, only an arsenal repair (tastefully done, by the way!), and a gouge on the left side of the stock. Beautiful walnut on this one!
