Tradex K31?

Here's mine from tradex, awesome and for $240 I'd say its a great value. I only had 10 rounds of GP11 when I made this, I know if I shot it more this missmatch special could do 1 moa with GP11.

Got mine from Tradex on Tuesday. Very nice, all matching rifle for $275.00 (I think $340 to my door after taxes and shipping). From the serial number it was built sometime in 1942. Can't wait to take her to the range with some GP11! Hopefully I will be able to pick up a scope mount from them early in the new year to really see what it can do and to make it my long range deer slayer.

I highly recommend Tradex for anything they sell. The quality and condition always seems to be better than what is stated on the website!

Hey, When tearing it down for a full on cleaning and inspection, I got one with one of the plastic cards behind the butt plate. Lists the serial number again and a bunch of other informantion with the owner's name and, I think, regiment. I will have to post some picture when I can.

That's great. I was totally disappointed that mine didn't have one.

Yeah, I'm hoping mine will have the same. I saw once where a fellow got in touch with the previous owner of the rifle, who sent him pictures of himself when he was in service with the Swiss Army. Pretty cool seeing the actual rifle in the old pictures, and owning the same one!

I think I've bought more ammo, particularly 7.62x39, from Tradex than anywhere else. Great service, very fast shipping, and good prices.

I also bought a 1934 production K31 and a case of GP11 from them. Fantastic rifle and ammo, probably one of the most accurate milsurps out there. I'd recommend it highly.

I bought my M44, SVT-40 and a Margolin target pistol from them with very good results, that's why I figured I'd get a K31 as well. Very reasonable prices too!

Took my K31 to the range today for the first time after receiving it from Tradex a few weeks back. This is my 12th milsurp rifle and I was really impressed with its quality. The stocks tend to show some wear but all working parts are in great condition. The bore is excellent. The leather strap was in great condition and cleaning kit was complete/original. Even before shooting this rifle I was impressed.
At the range it was faultless. A really nice rifle to shoot, totally affordable and VERY underated..

Got mine this week from Tradex. The metal is very impressive and shows very little wear on the bolt, side of magazine and so on. I'm just wondering if you guys do anything to your stocks or leave them as is?

Congrats on the K31..Personally I prefer to leave the stock as it is. Its in pretty good shape anyway. The little nicks and dents add's character and its part of the history of the rifle, but that's just my view. I noticed on a You tube video recently that sometimes the rifle's original owner put their name on card/paper under the butt plate. Worth a look, you never know:)
