I just thought I'd share a few pics of my sweet K31 (1942 dated) that I got awhile ago from Tradex. When I first got it, I noticed that the rear sight slider was missing, but an email to Anthony resulted in a super fast delivery of the missing part. (Thanks also to diopter!)
What I really like about this rifle is that it has a gorgeous walnut stock on it, with no evidence of "beaver chewing" so common on other K31s. The only flaw in the wood is an arsenal repair on the left receiver side, but it is very well done and doesn't detract from the beauty overall. The bore is, of course, pristine-I have dealt with Tradex in the past and have never been disappointed in any of my purchases and am especially happy with my latest addition to my collection
Also note that I managed to snag a K31 accessories package from Calgary Shooting Center. A bayonet with scabbard and frog, a spare magazine and a brass bore protector as well as a Swiss Charger guide that I ordered separately, total cost shipped was $125, Score!!!
