Tradex M-38 barrels.

Tradex has some new M-38 6.5 X 55 barrels. I am wondering if anyone here has used them and how it worked out. I am also wondering how difficult/costly a job it is to have a gunsmith replace one? Any complications like receivers cracking on removal, etc. that could make this a more costly proposition?

I installed one on my m38, No problems at all
By the way they seem to be fully chambered not short chambered
mine screwed on and headspaced with no extra work

I'm not saying thats the norm it just so happened to work out for me

Would they be a a P in the A to have the barrel lathed into a sporter ahead of the chamber eliminating the shoulder on the barrel?Harold
