That is truely tragic. No offence intended, but obviously the guy wasn't all that bright???

He was armed with a camera??? That's brilliant. I wouldn't even step foot in that type of territory without packing something...ANYTHING! Hell, a flare probably would have scared them off if you lit it up.

he was probably a liberal or ndp'er guns are bad!! he just wanted to hug the nice cuddley lion and if that did not go well they could allways BAN lions!
 
Reminds me of that do gooder husband and wife team up in Alaska that were studying grizzleys and esentially "becoming one with the grizz" by living with them and having physical contact with them. I am pretty sure they were both mauled and killed either last year or the year before. Please correct me if i am wrong.

What I found interesting is that the footage is 1960's vintage, early 60's I think. I didn't think the lion hugging movement had started that far back.
 
What a fukcing moron. The most tragic thing is they shot the lioness that ran off with the camera - so they could see what Idiot-boy had filmed.
If only Idiot-boy had a gun and not a camera, or at least a gun and his camera.

On a related note. Personally I can't wait until that barefoot bearded idiot from Australia finally gets snapped up by that Croc he's always sitting on!
